Named after Marco Simoncelli, the motorcycling champion from Romagna who tragically passed away in 2011, the Misano Adriatico circuit is the pride and joy of motorcycling in Romagna.
There’s a strong link between this land and engines, not only as the San Marino Grand Prix race is held here in September and because of the circuit itself, but also due to the culture of motorcycling and the fantastic roads that wind their way through the hills of the inland area. Furthermore, as many of you know, Romagna is the birthplace of some of the greatest Italian and world champions.
